Shout splits what a trip, a house or a long dinner costs — and nobody at the table has to make an account to be part of it.
One code, and they're in
The person who starts the group does the setup. Everyone else uses the same sharing code.
- Start the group
Name it, add who's in it, pick a currency. Thirty seconds, on your phone, offline if you like.
- Share the code
The group has one reusable sharing code. Send it to everyone who needs to join.
- They choose their place
Shout recognises an existing account, or asks which unclaimed name is theirs. They can use the app or a browser.

Splits that match real life
Even, by share, by exact amount, or one person covering part of it. Change your mind later and the history stays honest.
Fewer payments at the end
Shout works out the smallest set of transfers that clears the group, instead of everyone paying everyone.
Multi-currency, done properly
The rate is locked when the expense happens, not when you settle. What you paid is what the group sees.
Works with no signal
Everything is on the device first. Add an expense on a boat, in a tunnel, on a plane; it catches up when you do.
Your group code is controllable
Everyone uses the same group code, and any member can replace it if it goes astray. Existing members stay connected.
Nothing to lose by leaving
Export a group as a plain file any time. It reads as text, opens in any copy of Shout, and it's yours to keep.
Two things we won't walk back
Core splitting is free forever
Unlimited groups, unlimited expenses, no ads, no counter that runs out on the fourth dinner of the month. If paid tiers arrive, they cover things the app cannot do today.
Early supporters are grandfathered permanently
Anyone who buys a supporter tier keeps every future paid unlock at no extra cost. Not for a year. Permanently.
Not out yet
Shout is still being built. It isn't in the App Store or on Google Play, and this page will carry the links the day it is.
